Early morning surprise!

Just before I went to bed on Saturday night, I went outside to the back porch. Kitty was curled up asleep in the dog's basket, not her own (which is up high). I thought to myself "naughty kitty!" and went to bed.

When I got up on Sunday morning, I went outside to feed her. She was still curled up asleep in the dog's basket. When I put out her food, she came into the outside laundry and started to eat. I then heard a "meow" from where the basket is on the porch. I thought "oh another cat must have come in". Imagine my surprise when I went out and found 3 tiny newborn kittens inside the basket!

Clever kitty! She had given birth during the night without any fuss!!
